My favorite thing is that this dictionary doesnt require an Internet connection to work. It helped me a lot while in Italy.

On the first day of class, this app did not have 3 different words I needed. I do not recommend it, though the format is fine.

This is a great buy along with the voice part. Learning basic Italian made easy. Love it. Now in headed to Italy and practice what Ive learned.

Pretty limited. Few words include sample sentences or information on word usage.

Does not have the most basic of words, not intuitive how to use. Dont waste your money. Spend a few extra bucks for a more quality app. Dictionary contains words you would never need like "checker" when I was trying to figure out how to ask for the check. Also… what is a "checker"? Part of a game or someone who goes and checks things. Dictionary does not give context. Useless!

I love this app! I use it all the time when I am reading in italian. The voices are particularly good because you can hear where the stress is on a word. I have a copy of this app on both my iPad and my iPhone. No more lugging heavy dictionaries around.

Generally a very good dictionary, BUT is missing accent information (which syllable is stressed) for Italian words; it is there for English words, not much help if youre an English speaker. Also does not have part of speech or gender information. So this is OK if you dont care about constructing valid, pronounceable sentences, but if you are trying to SPEAK Italian, the dictionary is missing very important parts.

Accurate and reliable. I love this app. You can look up a word or translate an article. And switching modes is fast and easy!

Quirky, sometimes helpful app. Does not specify gender for Italian nouns. Translations into English can be rather quaint and one is left hoping for further translation into every day English. Menu is confusing. Needs much work to be truly useful.

Just downloaded the translation speech add on, only to find it doesnt work. Program could use some debugging

Extremely handy! I would be lost without it. However, lacks some basic translations. Pretty close to five stars! Please update word list.

This is my go-to app. Not perfect but the best of whats out there.

Simply said it works well and provides good support for my study of the language. It would be better if it better identified the gender of the nouns and the proper article to use. Also plural endings would be a great addition.

Simple words to look up like "good evening" which is "buonasera" wasnt even given, who knows what else, and many definitions like for "prego", would you believe "Dont mention it" - really??? This app is was horrible. I gave up on using this app and just used google. Dont buy this app, I wish I could get my money back.

With iOS 9 it crashes every time I lunch the app. With previous versions it didnt happen. iPhone 5.

Not the worst dictionary in the world, but it’s gone with Apple’s latest iOS update. Thanks so much.
